Financial Aid

Upper Kutz Barber & Style College participates in Title IV Federal Financial Assistance programs under authorization of the U.S. Department of Education. Any student interested in obtaining Federal Student Financial Aid should visit our campus or call the financial aid office and request a Student Financial Aid Information Guide or visit the U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid website to view online federal assistance publications.

For students that don’t qualify for Financial Aid through the U.S. Department of Education we do offer flexible payment plans that coincide with each individual financial situation.

Is Financial Aid Right for You?

For those who qualify, student financial aid is assistance which helps pay for the cost of an education. Funds included in student aid may be provided from several sources, including federal, state and private agencies. Most financial aid recipients receive a combination “package” which typically includes more than one type of assistance from programs such as Federal Pell Grants and Federal Direct Student Loans. Grant aid is money that does not have to be repaid. Loan assistance includes borrowed money that must be repaid by the applicant.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

You can begin the process of applying by following the steps in the  Student Financial Aid Information Guide or by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid website for most aid programs, including grants and loans. This website is the primary resource for establishing eligibility for needs-based aid at Upper Kutz Barber & Style College. Be sure to enter the correct school code so that your application can be processed.
